FREMONT, Calif., Aug. 3, 2017 -- Today, NVXL Technology announced that Dr. Danny Lange has joined the NVXL Technical Advisory Board. Dr. Lange's guidance will benefit NVXL as it develops disaggregated storage and compute acceleration technology to power the next generation of machine learning and deep learning applications.

Dr. Danny Lange has a distinguished career in machine learning and artificial intelligence that spans some of Silicon Valley's largest companies. Currently, Dr. Lange is the Vice President of AI and Machine Learning at Unity Technologies, leading multiple initiatives in the field of applied Artificial Intelligence. Previously, Danny was Head of Machine Learning at Uber, leading efforts to build a highly scalable machine learning platform to support all parts of Uber's business from the Uber App to self-driving cars. Before Uber, Danny was the General Manager of Amazon Machine Learning and launched an AWS product offering machine learning as a cloud service to the public. He has also worked as the Principle Development Manager at Microsoft and as the CTO of General Magic, Inc. He received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Technical University of Denmark and holds 22 patents.

Dr. Lange will advise NVXL Technology's executives and engineers on a regular basis.
